Earth's Magnetic Field In Delcine?
Drudge has an interesting report, apparently from NYT, about the state of the Earth's magnetic field:

As anyone who has read Fingerprints of the Gods might remember (great book, by the way), the year 2012 might be of interest. Anyone know anything about this topic?

The collapse of the earth's magnetic field, which both guards the planet and guides many of its creatures, appears to have started in earnest about 150 years ago, the NY TIMES is planning to report on Page Ones Tuesday.
