Don't let anyone tell you that the Democrats are just doing their job by filibustering Bush's nominees. Not only has this never been done in the history of the Senate, but Bush has gotten nowhere near the confirmation percentage of his predecessors. WASHINGTON (AP) - Reacting to a Democratic offer in the fight over filibusters, Republican leader Bill Frist said Tuesday he isn't interested in any deal that fails to ensure that the Senate votes on confirmation for all of President Bush's judicial nominees.That's how the majority Party is supposed to act! Now I just hope he holds the line.
