Kerry Never Fails To Amaze Me
I've got a couple of stories I'd like to share about the Presumptive Waffler.
Each of them revolves around (surprise!) Vietnam and they all paint the PW in only the most true of lights.
The first is a heart-warming story from Memorial Day (hat tip Command Post). Apparently, Kerry was paying a visit to the Vietnam Wall in DC. Here's how it went down:
Ted Sampley, a former Green Beret who served two full tours in Vietnam, spotted Kerry and his Secret Service detail at about 9:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Wall. Sampley walked up to Kerry, extended his hand and said, "Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here."
At that point a Secret Service officer told Sampley to back away from Kerry. Sampley moved about 6 feet away and opened his jacket to reveal a HANOI JOHN T-shirt.
Kerry then began talking to a group of schoolchildren. Sampley then showed the T-shirt to the children and said, "Kerry does not belong at the Wall because he betrayed the brave soldiers who fought in Vietnam."
Just then Kerry - in front of the school children, other visitors and Secret Service agents - brazenly 'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to everyone, "Sampley is a felon!"
Flashed the Bird in front of 1) school children, 2) a Vietnam vet and 3) the Vietnam Memorial!!! Ah yes, yet another example of exactly how a President should not act...and therefore another reason why the Waffler should not even be in the running for our nation's highest office (for others see here and here). Any chance someone caught this all on film? Oh how I would love to get my hands on a picture framing Kerry, Sampley, the kids and 'the bird'.
Story #2 is entitled: POW Congressman: Hanoi Used Kerry Speech, Gore Comments 'Traitorous' (hat tip Wizbang). Money quote:
North Vietnamese jailers at the Hanoi Hilton invoked Sen. John Kerry's 1971 anti-war testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to taunt and demoralize U.S. POWs, Vietnam war hero Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, revealed on Wednesday.

Asked if he'd heard about Kerry's speech while he was at the Hanoi Hilton, Johnson told WABC Radio's Mark Levin, "Yes, we did."
Do I even need to point out the absolute moral barrenness of the Waffler?
Story #3 is absolutely amazing: Kerry Honored by Vietnamese Communists. Money Quote:
In the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the "War Crimes Museum") in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), a photograph of John Kerry hangs in a room dedicated to the anti-war activists who helped the Vietnamese Communists win the Vietnam War. The photograph shows then-Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry being greeted by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Comrade Do Muoi.
So not only is Kerry the Candidate of the Terrorists today, but he provided actual assistance to the enemy way back when too. These are not hateful, Right-wing-nut rantings. Rather, they are actual occasions wherein John F. Kerry (D-Communists/Terrorists) insulted children, Vietnam vets, the Vietnam Memorial, helped out the North Vietnamese during the war and was given a place of honor by the latter. Any questions?
